GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online (subject to availability)
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.
You can of course still contact the practice by telephone or in person, the above is just an option which patients have found convenient. More information including 'how to' leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices or see below for our patient leaflet.
How to sign up
Patients wishing to register for the first time on SystmOnline need only sign up for the NHS App and we will then contact you to arrange your SystmOnline Access. Registering on the NHS App means there are no forms to fill in and you will have your identity securely verified for us removing the need for you to visit the surgery. Alternatively, if you are unable to use the NHS App option, you can apply directly by submitting your contact details below and we will send you a registration form to complete.
Registering via the NHS App takes 3-7 days to process and will give you full access to the NHS App and SystmOnline (subject to us holding your current mobile number on your record and your response to opt in messages). Registering solely with SystmOnline typically takes 10-14 days after you have attended the surgery with the required documentation to confirm your identity.
We also offer eConsult which provides an online facility to contact a clinician regarding a concern, access self help or to make an administrative request.
Please complete this short form if you are unable to register for the NHS App.
Please ensure you include your email address so we can send you a registration form and instructions. If you do not have an email address we are unable to register you on SystmOnline.
